At the Beatification festivities for Blessed John Paul II this past weekend, Fr. Jim Phalan, C.S.C., the Director of Family Rosary International, announced a new worldwide campaign of prayer entitled Firm in Faith with Mary. In the spirit of Servant of God Patrick Peyton, C.S.C., the founder of Holy Cross Family Ministries, Fr. Holy Cross Week on S+L Television: Frs. Phalan and Gawrych Give Witness

Salt + Light Television, Canada’s “Catholic Channel of Hope”, which produced the moving documentary on Saint André Bessette entitled God’s Doorkeeper, features two of our Holy Cross priests this week on their flagship programs. First, Fr. James Phalan, C.S.C., the director of Family Rosary International, appeared on their weekly Perspectives Program and gives a wonderful education in the faith about the rosary. In the same week, our very own Associate Director of the Office of Vocations, Fr. Andrew Gawrych, C.S.C., appeared on the WITNESS program. Fr. Fr. Kevin Grove, C.S.C., Awarded Prestigious Gates Scholarship

This past week, Holy Cross received the great news that Fr. Kevin Grove, C.S.C., had received a prestigious Gates Scholarship to study at the University of Cambridge. Wilfred “Willy” Raymond, who is actually the Director of Family Theater Productions in Hollywood, is also giving his time as a chaplain to the Los Angeles Dodgers. As the article relates, Fr.
